A Message From The Bride

We met on Bumble, the dating app. It was the very first time I was using it. I was definitely the “are you all crazy, you can’t find true love online, maybe just a serial killer”, turns out you really can!

I made my very first and only Swipe, Martin! That was the beginning of what I like to call new age fate.

After exchanging a few messages, we realized we had a mutual friend in common which definitely made the whole process, and me feel at ease. And so we went on our “last first date ever” as Martin called it that night!

I was pleasantly surprised to find how down to earth Martin was, and how different he was from the guys I had had met from Los Angeles. And pretty soon he began calling me his “unicorn.” His friends had joked with him for years that he was going to be single forever, looking for a unicorn. We became inseparable pretty quickly.

Martin proposed on Christmas Eve, while we were on our holiday trip in Whistler, British Colombia.

We took the gondola that afternoon to the top of the highest mountain to get a Birdseye view of the snow-white covered beauty below us. As we were standing there, thousands of feet high, so high we could see the clouds floating below us, Martin got down on one, quickly freezing, knee and asked me to marry him.

The wedding process was definitely an experience. We planned an entire wedding in less than 7 months.

Going in all I knew was I wanted a classic, glamorous, sophisticated feel (I know not necessarily homogeneous adjectives). Without a single creative bone in my body I was more than worried. But as soon as I met Lisa Shaw from Love It Events, I knew I had found my fairy-godmother.

To this day I am speechless at the absolute magic that was created. It was beyond my wildest imagination.

Wedding planning is definitely not a piece of cake. To be completely honest as a couple we had our ups and downs throughout the process and plenty of indecisiveness, but the incredible team that helped turn everything into reality guided us in the right direction and helped ease the process tremendously.

It truly does matter who you select as your vendors and most of all as your coordinator. People with an ability to understand your visions all the while having the ability to reign you in a bit when you start inch away from budget is indispensable. But after 7 months July 20, our wedding day, had arrived!

For a closer look into this wedding, check out Martin & Rozanna’s Cinematic Wedding Film.

This is one of our favorite products we provide, because these films truly showcase the sweetest, most memorable moments that are full of so much emotion, but at the same time it embodies the glamour between the couple. It allows the viewer to relive their amazing day, the very best way possible.

It’s indescribable how any sense of nerves, stress, or question fails to exist when you know your soulmate is standing at the opposite end of the aisle. Both Martin and I woke up on our wedding day, more calm than either one of us had ever felt before.

We each knew in our inner most gut that we really had found our “one”, as cheesy as that may sound. And as a bride I remember being shocked the following day at how completely stress free and just plain giddy I was that day. I know a huge part of that was knowing that the fabulous team of experts we had hired were there to ensure I had nothing to think about except the euphoria of marrying my best friend.

And that is exactly what we did! Our wedding day began with a traditional Armenian church ceremony, I had told Martin from the very first day that this was my only MUST, and that is exactly what we did.

Friends and family came from all over the world and in front of everyone we shared the happiest moment of our lives!

After we said our  “I do’s” we were walked into a floral dream. The reveal of our reception truly took our breath away. It’s one thing to plan and try to envision, and something completely different the moment you finally see it! Literally speechless!

“I really cannot manage how I am going to choose the images that will go in my album, because every single one is my favorite. I can’t accept that I can’t choose all of them!”

Our florist had created pure magic and even surprised us with some of his personal touches that were so special to us, and our staging team surprised us with an arch installation that had somehow managed to make an outdoor wedding feel intimate and enclosed!

The rest of the night was the greatest blur of happiness, family, friends, love, dancing, and the greatest party that either one of us had ever thrown! I quite often sit and go through our photos now, trying to relive that night, and seeing the smiles on everyone around us.

Shortly after we took our first husband-wife trip and visited Florence, Rome, Positano, and Capri Italy! No better way in starting a life together than eating and drinking your way through Italy!
