A Message From The Bride to Be
Describe your experience with finding the perfect location for your PreWedding Session: We originally planned to do something overseas because we are known as the “traveling couple” but with everything going on we were not able to travel to Paris.
After having to change our original plans, we knew it was no brainer to have our PreWedding Session where we had our first date at, in Marina del Rey!
What are your recommendations/tips for couples before/during their PreWedding Session? I definitely recommend looking up style ideas on Instagram and Pinterest. It was super helpful with choosing outfits and choose a location that is meaningful to both of you!
Tell us about your PreWedding Session location: I really liked being on or near the water. We love the ocean and knew we had to incorporate it somehow into our photo session.
What was your favorite part about your session? Our favorite part of the day was being able to work with Rene!

Describe the moment he proposed!: I had just came home from work and I noticed the Christmas tree had new presents under it. Jokingly I told Damian, "Let's open presents!" So he said okay. He then shows me a small, medium, and large gift box.
He tells me that I can only choose two and the one I do not choose goes back to the store (this did not excite me) but he wanted to rely on my intuition if it was time or not.
I ended up choosing the smallest and the medium box and he opens the small box and there was the ring. He got on one knee and made the most beautiful speech ever and of course I said YES!
Tell us about your very first date!: Well, I told Damian I loved Mexican food and he ended up taking me to a Mexican restaurant in the Marina and we walked on the pier after and just talked. We then got frozen yogurt and I thought it was the most thoughtful and romantic date ever!
Interesting/fun facts about the couple or session: We both have owned Shar-Pei’s that look identical from our childhoods. Our older sisters are the exact same age, born at the same hospital just 3 days apart.
We have also been to 5 different countries together and absolutely love to travel the world together.
What are you most excited about for your upcoming wedding?: What I am looking forward to most is definitely getting to marry my best friend. I cannot wait to be Mrs. Vasquez!
