A Message From the Bride
There are very few places in southern california that are as beautiful as the Hummingbird Ranch, such a dreamy place to exchange your vows and celebrate love!
It was definitely a little scary to think of all that could go wrong, planning a wedding during the pandemic. But, we knew we wanted a wedding, and decide to take a chance!
Honestly, everything turned out perfect and it was the wedding of our dreams, and we didn’t have to change much from our original plans.
For my wedding gown, I always knew I wanted something romantic.
I always loved Galia Lahav gowns, so it was the first place I looked for my dress!
When I put on the gown, I already knew it was mine right away!
From the fit to the removable sleeves and the sheer detailing it was exactly what I imagined.
When we had our first look, it was so special and emotional, and it was exactly how we envisioned it.
This gorgeous bridal gown was as dreamy as ever, and it fit with the wedding theme so well.
Describe the moment he proposed: He surprised me at a beautiful beachfront property in Malibu!
I thought we were going to a fundraiser dinner, but instead I was surprised with the most romantic proposal. I walked onto a balcony overlooking the ocean at sunset with red roses, and candles scattered at my feet.
It was breathtaking, and the best part was I was going to marry my best friend! Later, our family joined us to celebrate our engagement.
What are your favorite moments of your wedding day: Our entire wedding was our favorite moment. It was such a special day for us both.
One thing we both remember is even with all the vendors, and crazy hustle and bustle - we both felt calm and in the moment to enjoy it all!
The biggest advice we can give to brides to be is plan ahead of time and book all your major vendors first!
We planned our wedding in 6 months, it sounds crazy but it is so doable with the right vendors. We both didn’t want a summer wedding, but due to covid restrictions we decided on July 2021.
To be honest, now looking back at our photos, and the beautiful summer sunset in our photos we’re glad we got married in July.
For the wedding theme, we were set on doing everything very romantic, and couldn’t think of a better way to bring it to life with rose bushes and candle lights, surrounded by beautiful rose bushes, to create the ambiance of our dreams.
