Pretty in Pink Indian Wedding at Paséa Hotel & Spa

Wedding in Orange County

Sheena & Krishna

This was a week to remember, we spent four unforgettable days with this sweet couple, and every moment was noteworthy.

All the events took place in the Orange County area, with the main day taking place Paséa Hotel & Spa in Huntington Beach.

The Sangeet was beautifully designed and planned by SoCal Event Planners.

At their Sangeet, the bride stunned everyone in her pink gown

Her custom gown was marvelous, and so classy. The crystals on the gown made sure she glowed all night.

There are multiple events leading up to the ceremony, and the Sangeet is where the party usually starts, and is common in Hindu, Punjabi, and Gujurati cultures.

This event is full of music and dance, celebrating the bride and groom to be.

Weddings are always exciting, but when it comes to South Asian weddings it takes excitement to another level altogether

There are so many different traditions within each religion or which part of the South Asia your family is from.

The color scheme of this event was a mix of gorgeous deep jewel tones.

The red burgundy outfits they wore during the Dholki are typical for brides and grooms - they looked spectacular.

One of the sweetest events has to be the Haldi, because they are so intimate and full of great meaning. This is a ceremony that is said to cleanse and purify.

The Haldi is very symbolic also a part of most all Indian weddings, no mater what part of India your family is from, and it is celebrated similarly.

Agh just wait until you see how they “glow” the following day!

If you include personal touches to your wedding, the guests will always notice

The couple had thought of everything, from the most intricate details to the smallest touches that made each event feel so much more personal.

It was important to the families that the wedding was memorable, not just for themselves but also for all who attended.

The wedding ceremony is an integral part of a Sikh wedding

The ceremony is often referenced as the most blissful union for family togetherness.

There are four prayers that one of the most important rituals that occur during this time.

From all the prewedding events leading up to the reception, Indian weddings are truly spectacular celebrations

Most Indian families weddings host the best parties that their guests have ever seen, at least that is the goal.

It’s important that every detail of the wedding reflects who the couple are as individuals and also as newlyweds.

The couple, along with their planning team, had thought of everything, from the most intricate details to the smallest touches that made each event feel that much more personal.

They embraced every aspect of their culture while honoring their heritage at the same time. At the end of the day, it is all about celebrating love.

This couple did just that in a beautiful way, by bringing together their family and friends from near and far.

Before the ceremony begins and following the Baraat, there is a special event known as the Milni which essentially is a celebration welcoming the groom to his wife to be’s family and usually incorporates gifts with a beautiful embrace.

As soon as the Anand Karaj ceremony was complete, the party began!

There was so dry eye in sight watching these newlyweds walk down the aisle as husband and wife.

Their reception at Paséa Hotel & Spa was created with such sophisticated vibes, the way the candles light the room and the pink hues all around, felt so feminine and enchanting.

Choreographed dances, food in abundance and a celebration of love is just a small part of the fun that takes place at the reception

The reception is the time for the bride and groom to have fun with their friends and family.

The dances were so fun to watch, the guests surely enjoyed every moment. To see them so in love on their best day yet, was special for all to witness
