How they met, and the day he popped the question

They grew up together and were always childhood friends. They even attended the same middle school and high school, but didn't start dating until college. The proposal was a complete surprise, even though the lovers never talked about getting married, they knew it was going to eventually happen. He proposed on New Year of 2017 during the countdown when they were surrounded by their closest friends and he asked during his toast! How sweet is that!?

Absolutely stunning in Ines di Santo

Chantal had two different looks on her wedding day. The first look she went for was classic, and simply timeless. She had a updo, which was tastefully beautiful by Lala K, and glam by one of our favorite makeup artists Faces by Rob. For her first look, Chantal wore Ines di Santo from Lovella Bridal.

When choosing your bridal look, one must consider all aspects of their look from their gown, what shoes they’ll wear, and not only who their glam squad will be, but how their look will be executed. Chantal’s look was simply on point and carefully accounted for.

Why they chose Monarch Beach Resort as their destination wedding

Teddy & Chantal love to travel, so they wanted their wedding to feel vacation-like. Since they, and most of their families live in Los Angeles, Monarch Beach Resort, was like best destination wedding for them, that wasn’t too far away for their families.

It was very important for them to create a really enjoyable experience, and to bring everyone together for the entire weekend. They even had their rehearsal dinner at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach the night before, as well.

They said “I Do” on the most beautiful summer day

From the ombre color scheme of the floral design by Eddie Zaratsian, to private location at the resort to hold share their vows with their dearest family & friends, and the everything in between. Anita of Fancy That Events made sure that Chantal walked down the aisle at the perfect time, a little over an hour before the sun set, so the lighting was as beautiful as ever.

Chantal walked down the aisle as a Miss with her father and walked out of her ceremony as a Mrs with her new husband, with the biggest smile. These two are pure magic together.

The wedding reception complete with pure romance

For the theme of the wedding, Teddy & Chantal wanted everything to be very romantic with a garden like feel. The colors they used truly made the wedding feel warm and so charming. Eddie did an amazing job with the entire design concept, from beginning to end. Everything came together perfectly, from the floral colors to the smallest details, the white carpet in the entire ballroom, the fantastic food (the truffle was a special touch since these lovers calls themselves “the ultimate foodies”), and of course the beautiful venue - this bride & groom said they simply could not have asked for more.

A sultry second look in Berta

After seeing Chantal in her first gown, we could not imagine her looking any more beautiful. But, she stunned us all with her romantic yet sultry look in Berta, with her hair style changed to a downdo to add a playful, yet still very timeless feel for her second look.

A night of dreams come true

For their first dance song, they chose a song that was and is very special to them by Firestone called “Conrad Sewell”. The room light up when they were dancing, all their friends cheering on their love, their families together witnessing them become one, it truly was special. After their intimate first dance, they spent the remainder of the night dancing with all their favorite people, the best way they knew how. Celebrating their union with the incredible atmosphere they worked really hard to achieve for their guests, must have felt so good.
