Describe your experience with finding the perfect location for your PreWedding Session: We fell in love with The Los Angeles City Hall as soon as we laid eyes on it.. We really wanted to go for a timeless, classy and elegant location and City Hall nailed it for us. This location was so grand and beautiful. We are so happy that we chose this location, it turned out amazing!
What are your recommendations/tips for couples before/during their PreWedding Session?: My recommendations are make sure you and your hubby-to-be are on the same page when it comes to choosing your location. This is huge! It makes buying outfits and coordinating attire so much easier when you know the vibe of your shoot. Choose colors that really pop!
The vibrant colors truly look amazing on camera at everything in this venue, it is just perfect! Also, book hair/makeup appointments well in advance for a stress-free experience.
I would also add to just be yourself and have fun! Enjoy the experience and cherish it while it last! The love between you and your significant other being captured in the moment is priceless.
What was your favorite part about your session?: The whole experience was magical but my favorite part would have to be my fiancé and I laughing while shooting some of the shots.
I learned that just smiling alone doesn't always display the best pics. Laughter is the key to keep it natural and capture amazing photographs of you and your partner laughing and being happy!
Describe the moment he proposed!: Ahh! It was totally a surprise and the most shocking yet beautiful moment of my LIFE! We planned a day to go to the Beach. We decided to go to Malibu because, whats not to love? My fiancé is the Co-Owner of a brand called Canvas Cultures. He wanted to to do a few tutorials with some new artwork he got in. Of course I said yes! So I did a few tutorials as normal and then we were getting ready to do our last video with the most exclusive canvas of them all.
We arrive at El Matador Beach in Malibu and as I am unwrapping the last and final canvas with the wind in my hair and sand in my feet, it read "Autumn Will You Marry Me"!!!!!! Say what!!!! The best day ever. Such a clever, creative and brilliant way to propose. It was perfect.
Tell us about your very first date!: Very first day was at one of our favorite restaurants called "Taste" on Melrose in Los Angeles. We engaged in conversation and enjoyed a delicious candle light dinner in a very intimate setting. We sat, got to know one another and lost the concept of time. Such a romantic first date that I will never forget!
Interesting/fun facts about the couple or session : World Travelers, Food Connoisseurs, Movie Go-ers, Lover of all things in nature.
Fun Fact - We both played college sports. He played Football and I played Basketball, both wore #3.
What are you most excited about for your upcoming wedding?: I am most excited to marry the man of my dreams!!! I feel so blessed that God has allowed us to have our dream wedding. We are so excited to see all of our loved ones under one roof at the same time to celebrate LOVE. Cant wait to see how everything turns out and to experience the most magical day of our lives!
