A Message From The Bride To Be
Describe your experience with finding the perfect location for your PreWedding Session: It was actually very easy for us to find our perfect engagement session location. We love nature and we have always been a sucker for beautiful landscapes.
When we came across Vasquez Rocks, we fell in love with the incredible rock formation. We knew this was our spot!
What are your recommendations/tips for couples before/during their PreWedding Session?: The most important tip for couples before getting ready for their photoshoot is to not stress!
We found ourselves being completely stressed on things we shouldn’t be like getting everything organized and figuring out our perfect outfits. It is very easy to feel overwhelmed, but at the end of the day you will find yourself wondering why you were stressed in the first place.
Just relax and enjoy every moment together. When you enjoy the journey, you’ll create even more happy memories.
Tell us about your PreWedding Session location: We chose Vasquez rocks because before getting engaged we always loved to go hiking together. We would always go a little before sunset to enjoy the scenery.
We were stunned by the history of the rock formation at Vasquez rocks. My fiancé is all about geological history, and I’m all about the desert vibes!
What was your favorite part about your session?: Our favorite part of the session was Rene, our photographer. He always knew how to make us laugh. My fiancé doesn’t like smiling in photos and Rene made it easy and fun for us. Thank you Rene!
Describe the moment he proposed!: I was rushed with emotions and butterflies the moment he proposed. I had a strange gut feeling he was going to propose because of how he was acting that day. He told me it was his uncles surprise birthday party and how they rented a house for the night.
He kept asking me questions about what I’m going to wear the week before so I started to feel like he was up to something. He picked me up that day and we drove to our location. The moment he parked, I realized how oddly quiet the area was so I questioned him about “ why it’s so quiet”. He said “ I don’t think people have arrived yet, that’s probably why”.
We walked out of the car and walked towards the house. The moment he opened the door, I was looking down, and all I saw was rose pedals on the floor. That moment was so surreal for me. Words can not comprehend on how happy I was. I was unimaginably happy to marry the love of my life.
Tell us about your very first date!: My fiancé and I met at a wedding reception and that was the beginning to our love story. We had endless conversations after that night. He asked to take me out for sushi and told me to choose my favorite sushi restaurant.
He picked me up from home and as we walked to his car he said he has a surprise for me. He opened his car door and on the seat there were a dozen roses and I was in complete awe. We had such a great time together that ended up going for drinks afterwards. We ended up spending the whole day together.
Interesting/fun facts about the couple or session : During our session we had to smile in our images so my fiancé would say something completely random in my ear and I would laugh every time. With that being said, act like you are on a date on your photo session and have fun!
What are you most excited about for your upcoming wedding?: We can not wait to get married!!
We are so excited to finally plan our wedding and live together.
The best part is seeing my fiancé’s face when he sees me in a beautiful white gown. The most memorable part for me is walking down the aisle and marrying my soulmate.
