A Message From The Bride

Describe your experience with finding your wedding gown: Finding my wedding gown was a bit difficult, only because I felt like I was going to all the wrong places.

It wasn’t until I went to Lovella Bridal where I truly felt comfortable.

The staff at the bridal salon was very attentive and really wanted to find me exactly what I wanted. I could not be happier with my experience.

The designer I went with for my bridal gown was Leah Da Gloria, it was exactly what I envisioned.

For my glam squad, Anna Hart did my makeup and Lucy did my hair. The headpiece was from Maria Elena Headpieces.

We are both so happy with how everything turned out on our wedding day, and are glad we didn’t decide to postpone to a later date.

My catering team was Lady Bugz, they did our catering both on the morning of our wedding and also the reception.

Describe your experience with wedding planning during the current pandemic: Planning a wedding during a pandemic is stressful.

I was lucky enough to have an amazing team of people to help make it easier. Rene and his team were so helpful throughout the entire process.

Our portrait session was at Hummingbird Nest Ranch. We were so excited when we found out they were available, it is so beautiful there. Sako’s tux was designed by William & Company.

Describe the moment he proposed: I was completely shocked on the day he proposed. He proposed on his birthday which is why I was so shocked! He had everyone I’m close to in on it, and it shocked me that I never caught on. I was filled with so much emotion seeing how beautifully everything was set up!

We were both so happy to finally be getting married after going through so much stress over having a wedding or not having a wedding due to the pandemic.

Any advice you have about wedding planning in 2020? I didn’t realize how important it was to have the right team working with you while planning your wedding!

Having the right team working on your wedding really helps take some of the stress off your hands and allows you to have people that you can trust.

Take your time and plan accordingly because you really want to feel comfortable and stress free on the day of your wedding.

Wedding Reception Design Theme: My Reception Design Theme was really put together by Mary Michelle. She made our backyard into such a magical space.

I couldn’t believe we were even standing in our backyard. Our backyard was transformed into a french garden with beautiful lights and greens surrounding us.

What are your favorite moments of your wedding day?: Our favorite moment from our wedding day was honestly just being able to have everyone we love around us especially during a pandemic.

We were was so happy to have everyone that we truly consider our closest family and friends with us on our special day.

Wedding Reception Design Inspiration: Mary Michelle and I really found inspiration while discussing colors that I liked. She really took what I wanted into consideration and went out of her way to make things happen.
