Describe your experience with finding the perfect location for your PreWedding Session: Justin & I were looking for a very regal and sophisticated location and we immediately gravitated towards Pacific Palisades Villa.
It had beautiful views of the ocean and the architecture and layout the Villa was exquisite. It matched our vision for the photoshoot perfectly!
What are your recommendations/tips for couples before/during their PreWedding Session? We recommend every couple to rest a lot before the photoshoot. Also, try to avoid heavy foods to prevent bloating.
The most important tip is to always be happy and be you. Rene is so amazing, that if you just listen to his directions, the photoshoot will be everything you ever wanted. Remember to have fun and always put on a smile!
Tell us about your PreWedding Session location: Rene had sent us many locations for us to choose from and what made the Pacific Palisades Villa special were the amazing views.
Justin and I love elegance and luxury so we fell in love with the Villa. Justin and I actually had our second date at the beach and this location made us feel nostalgic.
While taking our photos outside, looking out to the ocean was the best feeling because it made me remember so many precious memories. Everything was just so perfect and executed exactly as we imagined.
What was your favorite part about your session?: Our favorite part of the session was Rene. He made the experience so fun and comfortable. He was the perfect element in capturing Justin and I just being ourselves in front of the camera. We were so comfortable!
Describe the moment he proposed!: Justin told me weeks before the night of the proposal to make appointments for hair and makeup to take me to a beautiful dinner for my birthday. When we were shopping for outfits, he picked out a white dress for me and it still didn't click that he might be proposing.
The day comes and he told me to meet him at his house before dinner. His mom opened the door and told me to go to the backyard and help her with something. As I walked to the backyard, I started seeing candles and next thing I knew I walked into a arch of beautiful white roses and a "Marry Me" sign with Justin standing right in front of it.
I was in so much shock and awe, I immediately started crying. He got down on one knee and I couldn't believe it was actually happening, I was going to marry my best friend. It was the happiest day of my life.
Tell us about your very first date!: Our first date, Justin picked me up and took me to dinner at Toca Modera. During dinner, I was so shy and didn't really talk much, which actually makes me laugh now. After having dinner and some drinks, we ended up at Cheesecake Factory for dessert.
It was such a perfect first date because we literally got to know each other in one day and I knew he was the one since that day.
Interesting/fun facts about the couple or session : An interesting fact about the session is that Justin and I went in thinking that the posed and serious photos were going to be our favorites, but the natural and dancing photos turned out to be amazing.
They showed how happy and real we are together and that's what I treasure the most.
What are you most excited about for your upcoming wedding?: Justin and I are so excited to celebrate the most important day with our loved ones and friends. We can't wait to see everyone come together and just have fun. We are so eager to see our vision come to life and have Rene capture all these moments.
